Dr. Yassine Bouchareb, Ph.D.
Dr. Bouchareb is Senior Scientist and a Medical Physics Expert with more than 15 years of experience in the fields of medical imaging, scientific research, and teaching medical physics science. He holds a Ph.D. in medical imaging from the University of René-Descartes (Paris). He is also a state registered clinical scientist with the UK Healthcare Professions Council. An author of several scientific publications, Dr. Bouchareb’s main research interests include: imaging biomarker methodologies, image quantification and image reconstruction techniques, kinetic modelling and image fusion, respiratory and cardiac motion correction techniques, as well as imaging-based assessment of efficacy of novel therapeutics in cancer, heart diseases and brain disorders in clinical trials. Dr. Bouchareb also has expertise in the planning, development, and extension of medical imaging and radionuclide therapy centers. He is a member of several UK and European professional bodies, medical imaging societies, scientific committees, and specialized Scientific Interest Groups and acts as an occasional scientific reviewer in international journals.
